So this definitely came out of a conversation/many conversations with @cuppyren (my eternal inspiration). The basic plot is that Loki is a make up guru, Thor does workout vids, and they meet up when they move to LA at the same time and become roommates. They don’t quite have enough money to live on their own yet, but they’ve got enough to have a pretty nice apartment and to have good cameras. They also annoy the crap out of each other, but everyone thinks they’re dating, and slowly they realize… they are.
Oooooooh so this is very much a “spoiled prince thor” au, but I also want it to be a “spoiled prince loki one.” Honestly, I think it’s going to turn out to be a bit of a pwp, but one that investigates a world in which Thor and Loki were indulged differently growing up than they were in canon, and come out happier and better people.
My notes: Thor and Loki both are spoiled in their own ways. Thor likes to indulge himself, to eat and drink himself to a half stupor, to gorge himself until he’s too full and lazy to even think about calling someone to his bed. And that’s when Loki indulges himself. Thor does it on purpose of course, because it’ll bring Loki to him. So he love it both for the indulgence and for how Loki touches him. Loki spoils himself for anyone else – there is just so much of Thor, so much of him that Loki needs and wants, and always, always gets to have.
So someone asked @shineonloki the other day about trucker Thor fics and i went OH MY GOD THAT IS THE DADDY KINK PROMPT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR. so! Thor is a long hall trucker who picks up loki at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. Loki’s super chilly cause its like North Dakota, and Thor offers him a warm bed for the night. Loki is super confused when Thor literally means a warm bed, but he slowly realizes that while Thor does want to fuck him, he also wants to take care of Loki, and to be the perfect daddy.
AHAHHAHA im glad someone noticed that. It really is in all caps as the title of the folder/doc (I write my works in scrivener as separate folders).
Anyway, so a while back, I had this sudden thought about magic fingers things in motels. Like, the vibrating beds. And I thought… hmmmm what about a fic where Thor finds out that Loki can make beds vibrate to “relax” and starts insisting that Loki do so for him all the time.
Of course, he ends up incredibly turned on night after night, and isn’t really sure how to deal with it until Loki puts his magic fingers to even better use.
Ok so know the famous post where the guy offers to go bug your family during Thanksgiving as long as you give him a good meal?
Well… imagine that Thor is alone and bored because his parents are visiting family in Iceland, and he’s stuck in the US. He works in construction and is a bit rough around the edges, but thinks that he could pull off seeming even grimier if needed, so he makes a similar post on Craigslist. Enter Loki, who was originally browsing for a hook up, but sees Thor’s post and realizes it’s the perfect way to annoy the crap out of Laufey, Helblindi and Byleistr at the holidays!
So basically the idea is that Loki is a ballet dancer and Thor is a percussionist in the orchestra. They meet when Loki’s director decides to put a few of the percussionists on stage for Rite of Spring. They don’t get on well at first because Thor gets in Loki’s way during rehearsal, but spending time together slowly changes both their minds!
The entire fic is plotted, but I haven’t moved beyond that part of writing. This was originally one of the candidates for my big bang fic, but I to write chose half myth, half truth instead.
