<3!

Weirdest thing you’ve ever written/thought about writing/etc.?

LOL Um, probably the cute room full of decomposing heads that Hux sleeps in in In My Study. Maybe. Probably not actually, but that’s always the thing that comes to mind. I’ve probably had much, much weirder ideas for stories and written them off because I’ve decided they don’t really have an audience. In non-fiction, most of what I write on is pretty weird!

I’ll have to think on this a bit and add to it if I remember something better!!

Another
Thorki doodle!

*hums* I am
up all night to draw Thorki :’D

(I hope it will show up in the “thorki” tag search
this time! The last drabble didn’t…)

Gosh, I absolutely love these two >///< ! I’ve
been shipping them since I saw “Thor 1” for the first time. Ragnarok made me
even ship them more (if that is even possible!) xD

5. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?

Already answered. It’s hard for me to judge tbh!

10 What inspires you the most?

Already answered, but I’ll add on that seeing artwork and writing from my friends is also SUPER inspiring. It pushes me to be better, and to try my hardest!

16. Do you have structured ideas of how your story is supposed to go, or make it up as you write?

120% structured idea. I don’t usually have every scene sketched out until I’m two or three chapters away from writing it, but most of the time I have a general description written out of what will occur in every chapter before I even start the work. For short stories, I usually known the basic shape of the plot, and the order of the events, although I don’t write it out as cleanly as I do for longer works!

I am obsessed with outlining.

For the fic questions, 3 & 5.

3. What is your absolute favorite kind of fic to write?
ANGSTY MESS. I really like writing dialogue heavy angst. I’ve been trying to work on being more descriptive lately, because I’d started falling into the trap of too much dialogue, simply because it’s my comfort zone. I love writing characters having serious, angst filled conversations, probably because I enjoy/appreciate those conversations with people I love in my own personal life.

5. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?
It really depends on the moment, what exactly I’m writing, and why I’m writing it. With fiction, if I’m really lucky, I can hit almost 3,000 words, but that’s when I’ve done a lot of plotting in advance, and have thought out the work really, really well. Between 1.5K and 2K is a much more normal excited-about-fic speed for me. For non-fiction, because of citation and quotation, I write between 700 and 1,000 words an hour.

1, 10, and/or 15 for the writer ask?

thank you!

1. Describe yourself how you would describe a character you’re introducing
She’s got a ink smudge on her nose. It’s the first thing you notice when you walk into her classroom. It’s right where she pushes up her glasses, and she doesn’t seem to realize it’s there. When she gets excited about whatever she’s teaching her hands wave through the air, and you can see the dark patches on her fingertips. She disappears into that strange other-world where teachers go when they’re not in the classroom much faster than her fellows.

Sometimes, sometimes she’s visible through coffee shop windows, entirely in her own little universe, or sitting in a park alone, and perhaps that’s all the world that she needs.

10. What inspires you the most?
I’m not really an inspiration kind of person. 😉 JK. I guess the literature I read for my job is most inspiring to me. Seeing the kind of work that someone like Nikolai Gogol or Yuri Andrukhovych was or is capable of makes me want to push harder and get myself to a comparable place.

15. Your guilty writing pleasure?
Snippets of warm up scenes that never go anywhere and never get posted! My notebooks are littered with 60 word paragraphs that are part of an idea and that simply live and die all in a few moments of time.

6, 8, 20!!!!

❤ ❤

6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot)
Are we counting the LOTR self insert stuff I wrote when I was like 6? Because that’d be the real first. I even typed it up incredibly slowly on an old windows running… idk, not even windows 98. It was about me joining the three hunters and having adventures with them in Middle Earth. If we’re not counting that, the probably WoT fic written on early message boards, mainly about Siuan Sanche’s early life.

8. Why do you choose to write?
I write rather compulsively. It’s an activity that lets me de-stress, and it’s a way of creating beauty in the world. (And by beauty, I mean not in the strictly “pretty” sense.) I’ve always had some artistic outlet in my life, and since I’m not spending 30-60 hours a week somehow involved in ballet anymore, writing has become my artistic thing. I don’t actually think I could live functionally without some sort of artistic outlet.

20. 4 sentences from your work that you’re proud of
[This is actually four lines!]

“So you wish I had saved myself? You wish that I had turned on you,
and risked having to live without you if Thanos succeeded in killing
you?”

“I so wish,” Thor admits. His blush is hot on his cheeks, but as no one can see it, and as he speaks to a ghost, it is no matter.

“Selfish. As always, you are selfish, Thor.” The words are harsh, but Loki chuckles as he says them.

“Yes. In this, I am,” Thor growls. “I have mourned you enough for one lifetime.”
