I can’t find my 2016 one, but here’s a review of my attempt at writing in 2017.

I only wrote about 115k words this year of fanfic. Add in ofic, and you get about 130k, and then I don’t want to contemplate what happens when you add non-fic. My fanfic abilities got kinda wiped out by the election, and I was also writing for smaller fandoms, which push me to write a little less.

I participated in two events ( @thegalacticimperials‘s imperial big bang and @jedifest‘s rogue robin), and had a fic chosen for a @freshmeatfriday!

I also wrote a few chapters of my novel The Honeysuckle Tree, a thriller set in the North Carolina mountains, and transformed a fic into a novella, North End, which might end up being a novel.

Apparently I also wrote more modern au than usual, which doesn’t surprise me, as I’m branching out in my writing. Most of my writing this year is also thanks to @cuppyren, who is such a wonderful muse and friend, and @artyaourter, who is always there to reason things out with me.
