Last movie you watched: Starred Up. It was really freaking incredibly, and my emotions are all still pretty haywire from it and I think I might watch it again tonight, or at least part of it, because not only is it beautifully shot, it’s such a compelling look at policing.

Last book you read: I just reread Mirgorod by Gogol. I’m also reading Hawk of May by Gillian Bradshaw, which I HIGHLY recommend to anyone interested in the historical King Arthur. It isn’t quite historically accurate, of course, nor does it intend to be, but it’s awesome.

The last thing you ate: Spaghetti with homemade alfredo sauce.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be: Either Bucharest or Brasov in Romania.

Where would you time travel to: About two or three hundred years from now. I really, really, really, really want to see when we break the light speed problem and figure out interstellar travel. And then go and see EVERYTHING.

Fictional character you would hang out with for a day: Luthien, from The Silmarillion. I’ve always LOVED her, and I’d love to just be able to spend a long time talking about everything to her.

Since there is no question 8, I’m making one up: If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be: The Lord of the Rings. No question about it!.

Hope I’m not too late for this: weird fact about me: After reading a book, doesn’t matter how long ago, I can almost immediately find scenes again if I’m looking for something specific. Also works if I only read the ebook version and grab the printed book (for some reason).

It’s great to have a good memory for placement in storyline and in physical objects!!! Especially if you like to read a lot

Honestly, this vividly reminds me for some reason of writing an impassioned defense of the printed book over ebook varieties like 8 years ago. Man. Now I read ebooks all the time, cause I can made the type bigger and don’t have to switch into my reading glasses.
